Services Hotline For Women, Children And Families

Twenty-four hours/day, 7 days/week

The Services Hotline For Women, Children, And Families provides information and linkages to public programs that serve pregnant women and children including:
  • Medicaid/BadgerCare
  • W-2 (Wisconsin Works) programs
  • Job opportunities
  • Basic skills programs
  • The availability of family or medical leave
  • Child care services
  • Child support laws and programs
  • Adoption
This line is a referral point for women considering options for their pregnancies. As part of Act 309, referral information needs to be available to women prior to making a decision regarding their pregnancies.

An important function of this hotline is to publish an annual resource directory that can be distributed to women on request.
